Robert Pattinson has the world at his feet and instead of jetting off to some elaborate 23rd birthday bash in Vegas, he opted for a dinner with his parents and cast mates. Mr. & Mrs. Pattinson flew to Vancouver to meet up with their son and help to celebrate his big day along with Rob's New Moon costars. USmagazine.com is confirming that Pattinson, his parents, Kristen Stewart, and Jamie Bower arrived at Vancouver's Global Grill on Wednesday at 9:15 where they enjoyed a quiet dinner celebration. A source tells US, "Robert's parents were all smiles. They were kind of quiet but very gracious and polite. You could easily see where Robert got his reserved demeanor from."
The party snacked on Kobe beef, lamb and steak satay as they helped the vampire ring in 23! The party ended shortly after 11pm when a restaurant goer spotted the party and tweeted the location of Rob to everyone online. Rob really must feel like Where's Waldo at this point because he can't go anywhere without loads of people following him.
We all know that Rob is very lax and goes with the flow, so when the star gets excited about something, everyone stops and takes notice. According to In Style, on a recent photo shoot, Rob spotted a necklace that he had to have and once the jewelry owner heard this she was thrilled! It was a shark tooth necklace, but not the ones that you get on the boardwalk or on a family vacation to Hawaii; this necklace is made out of 18-carat gold! So for 23, Rob scored a large Mako shark tooth crusted in 18 carat gold made by Finn with a retail value of $975. Sweet choice Rob, did you know that Brad Pitt and Liev Schreiber also sport this Mako necklace?
